Ava's Demons

Michelle Czajkowski, also known as Michelle Fus or Tinypaint, is the creator of Ava's Demon, and since the successful funding of the Kickstarter for Ava's Demon: Book One on June 29, 2013, it has become their full-time job. They started creating Ava's Demon when they were the age of 13 and suffering from depression in order "to escape life." [1] It took them about 8 years to finish, and they are now undergoing the task of converting it into webcomic format.

They were born December 25, 1988[2][3], and they are 35 years old.

Professional History[]

Michelle Czajkowski attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where they received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Art and Animation in 2011[4]. During this time, from June to October 2009, they worked briefly as a concept artist for the animation studio Nathan Love . Czajkowski was then briefly an intern at the major animation studio Pixar from June to August 2010. They then worked as a Character Technical Director at another major animation studio, Dreamworks, from July 2011 to June 2013, putting work into the major film Me and My Shadow[5] and the major film Home,[6] formerly known as The True Meaning of Smekday or Happy Smekday! From May 2012 to present, Czajkowski has taken on the arduous task of converting their original comic Ava's Demon into a webcomic format. In March 2017, it was announced that Czajkowski would be contributing several pieces of artwork to the card-based role-playing game Firelight, alongside continuing work on Ava's Demon[7]. They join other artists such as Loika and Vicki Tsai on the project[8].

Personal Life[]

Despite their former close correspondence with fans and the growing popularity of Ava's Demon, Czajkowski manages to keep their personal life neatly under wraps. They reside in New York, USA[9]. Czajkowski is known for taking frequent brief breaks for personal reasons, including the health of their niece[10] or their presence at a convention [11].

They appear to be a fan of several different media, as portrayed by the fan art displayed on their DeviantArt account[12]. This account includes fan art of several things, including Bee and Puppycat[13], Sailor Moon[14], and the video game Off[15].

Occasionally, Czajkowski will make an appearance at a comic or anime convention. In the year of 2015, they attended Otakon, Anime STL, and Katsucon, as stated in the News Feed on the Ava's Demon website home[16].

Internet Activity[]

Czajkowski used to frequently respond to fans on websites such as Formspring and Tumblr. However, due to frequent harassment[17], their internet activity became primarily confined to Twitter, announced on February 1, 2015 [18]. The moderation of the official Ava's Demon Tumblr blog was transferred to another, anonymous person.
